Pokemon Fan Club

Especially since some of us have been getting into Pokemon fairly recently and that Platinum will soon come out in English, catching them all isn't such an uncommon way to spend your time ~

Diamond / Pearl / Platinum / Battle Revolution players, post your friend codes here in case other people would like to battle you.

Name: Can be your real name, nickname, forum name, in-game name, whatever you'd like.
Version: Might be handy if you need to trade with someone who has another version.
Team: Your main team, or the ones that you commonly use. You don't need to disclose it though.
Rules: Like to battle with non-legendary pokemon only? No items? Blue-colored pokemon only? List whatever rules you usually want to battle with if challenged.

Common Rules:

Species Clause: Basically, no more than one of a specific pokemon species (Check Pokedex #) in your team at the same time. Nidoran F/M count as two different kinds.
No Ubers: For the most part, they're overpowered pokemon and usually legendaries. Most commonly banned pokemon: Mewtwo, Mew, Lugia, Ho-Oh, Latias, Latios, Groudon, Kyogre, Rayquaza, Jirachi, Deoxys, Dialga, Palkia, Giratina, Darkrai, Manaphy, Arceus.
No Legendaries: Bans the use of any legendary pokemon, including elemental trios for each generation.

Move-related Rules:

Evasion Clause: No using of moves which increase the user's evasion (Double Team, Minimize)
OHKO Clause: No using of the chance moves which automatically KO in one hit (Horn Drill, Guillotine, Fissure, Sheer Cold)
Last Pokemon Rule: If both players are down to their last pokemon and one player uses a move that makes their pokemon faint (EX: Explosion, Destiny Bond), they automatically lose.

Item-related Rules:

Same Item Clause: All pokemon on your team must have different items.
Loophole Item Clause: Items that ignore game mechanics (Brightpowder, King's Rock, Focus Band, Quick Claw) are not allowed.

Other Rules:

Sleep Clause: Only one pokemon can be asleep at a time by an opponent's move. Putting yourself to sleep (Rest) does not count.

I've got a soft spot for Eevees and the generally considered "cute" Pokemon... usually prefer the first forms over the evolved stages, too.

- Diamond / Platinum: Smeargle, Gengar, Togekiss, Gallade, Lucario, Garchomp, and Rhyperior are the most-commonly used, but I change Pokemon fairly often.
Rules: I've got legendary Pokemon but won't use them unless requested. Typically, my rules are pretty much every rule in my first post.

Ooooh, okay, that sounds a lot more familiar now.

If I can actually get back to any sort of good level, we should start up a gym leader thing again... right now I'd be like.. the lowest level, cause my Pokemon are level 20s lol

Platinum comes out in a few months or something, right? I probably won't be able to play it unless I update my .. whatever it is that lets me play the games without buying them... or I'll have to buy the game.
