The blood moon jewel

Anjiru stared up at the moon, taking a deep breath of mountian air. She sheathed her sword Kurotsuki and gazed out into the forest.

" This looks like a fine place to camp for the night..." She thought to herself. " But I doo need some firewood..."

She began to venture into the woods when she heard a twig snap.

"[i] Hmm, I wonder who that is..." She thought one hand on Kurotsuki.

She continued walking, her dog ears revolving to pick up any noise. Then again, she heard another snap and the shuffling of a body moving in the night. She spun quickly drawing out Kurotsuki and shouted.

" COME OUT!! I KNOW YOU'RE THERE! WHAT IS IT YOU WANT FROM ME!?"
