Higurashi no Naku Koro ni Rei

So, who all saw the first episode of the new Higurashi OVA?

The first episode is all comedy and stuff, which is typical of a Higurashi series. It's a total of 5 episodes long and it looks as if the middle 3 will be the horror/suspense stuff and the last one will be another random one.

Having not played the games or spoiled myself on the different chapters in, I have no idea what's left to the story. SPOILERS... at the end of Kai, they beat the 'game', as it were, and made it to the next day... I don't know what's left? I hope it's a happy ending regardless though...

Dice Killing chapter (which I thought was the title of a previous arc, maybe I got confused it with Demon Killing chapter) is likely a suspense arc.

As far as I know, there's probably going to be a chapter based on the doujin Higurashi Daybreak game. Maybe they'll also add some stories from the games or manga. A certain 'true ending' arc comes to mind.
