| Congratulations to our new forum! We've reached 10 members and this makes our 100th post! We also have three good affiliates with more in the works. This is very exciting! Today I'd like to present a new idea to everyone. I'd like to hear everyone's opinion about it along with suggestions, since it's for you. The first thing I'd like to talk about is a Rewards System. Basically, different things you do for Imagine will earn you points (needs a more creative name). These points can be redeemed for different things. You can earn points in a lot of different ways. This is sort of a rough outline of what I was thinking. It's 100% in the planning stages and since this is to reward you guys, make sure you like it! The Point Earning... - Spoiler:
1 Point Rewards:
- Register for Imagine!
- Reach 100, 500, 1000, 1500, 2000, etc posts.
- Donation, 1 Point per $1 USD. All donations go towards Rewards.
- Participate in a RP with more than 5 posts by you.
- Putting a link to Imagine in your signature at another forum, 1 point per signature.
5 Point Rewards:
- Referrer a member to Imagine. Member must state in their intro thread who referred them to receive points. Additional 3 points if referred member stays active for 1 month.
- Find an affiliate for Imagine. Affiliate must be willing to link back to Imagine. Should be nerd-related.
- GM a Roleplay that either completes or reaches more than 50 posts. One time reward for both competition or 50 posts.
- Win an Event hosted by Imagine, such as trivia, art contest or a holiday related event.
And the Rewards... - Spoiler:
5 Points: - Get a custom user title (I have to double check that I can do this on this forum, but I think I can) 10 Points: - Change your username 20 Points: - Be apart of a custom group and color for a month. You get to decide the color and what the group is called. It will be displayed at the bottom of the forum in the Legend. 50 Points: - Receive an item of your choice up to ~$10. Preferably an item off our affiliates website, www.animenation.com.
Anyways, as you can see the Rewards part of it is really bare and we need more items for Rewards, too. Give your honest opinion and any suggestions you have to make it better! Try not to suggest too many Rewards that cost money, unless you think you may be willing to donate a few $ along the way

| Sounds neat, but I'd probably switch the change username and the custom title bit. Sometimes usernames can get screwy, and it might become a pain in the butt to get those ten points.
Also, the twenty point reward, does that mean you could become a moderator, etc. for a month? Or will you create groups to have specific colors? | |

Hm, you couldn't join an existing group, but you could make your own. Like "Awesome Member" group and have the coloring be lime or something. I don't want people switching usernames all the time, but maybe if we can think of more things it can be lowered and such. | |

| So, I was thinking about this again I thought of maybe separating the points into two forms Forum Points (FP) Donation Points (DP) Forum Points would come from the roleplaying and participating in forum games and events. Donation Points obviously come from donating. FP are redeemed for prizes dealing with the forum whereas DP can be redeemed for real prizes. They're separate to keep us from going broke 20 FP = 1 DP. $2 = 1 DP Any thoughts on this? | |
