Recommend to me...!

Alright, I'll just go ahead and summarize what's going on with my laptop...

Basically, the plug for the power cord is loose and it won't stay in so I'm having trouble keeping my computer on. My battery is also shot so it doesnt really hold a charge anymore, giving me limited time to try and wiggle the cord back in to a good spot.

I've got it working right now, but I dunno how it will last... so I want to hear computer recommendations. I want a desktop this time and a flat screen monitor. Looking for 2 or more GB of RAM. Everything else is kinda flexible, so recommend away!

I've used HPs and Compaqs, so even if you only have a brand to share that you like, it'll help.

My price range is $600 or less... preferably less.

oh that is easy to fix but the battery being shot is due to not using the computer without the charger a lot ok first you will need to get a need battery for it which isn't much and to fix the charger you will have to open the line with small tweezers but be sure you have extra set of electrical lines to add or exchange also you will need to mend the metal together it takes time but it isn't hard if you need more help about computers let me know.

Fixing it would be such a hassssle. I think I just want to buy a new one. But I can't afford to right now. I've got it working my wrapped the power cord around the monitor XD its a temporary solution but until it fails me, I shall force this computer to serve me.

you can buy a computer online for 349.98$ with a computer screen if you want me to look for cheaper ones let me know also if you want a laptop they go for 599.98$

Nah, I want a desktop. I think I wrote a bit about what I wanted in the first post. A new computer is on hold for now though, as much as I want one.
