FullMetal Alchemist 2

So, anyone looking forward to FMA 2?

As far as I know, nothing has been released specifically on what its going to be about... but there was a few second long clip that showed Ed and Al, so it's gotta be about them... it just wouldnt be right if it wasn't, though.

My main hope is they keep the voice actor for Ed... all the others could probably change and I wouldn't care or notice too much... but Eds voice was perfect the first time around...

I'm really hoping it's an adaptation of the manga since it'd be awesome to see Lin and the others animated.

I mean, come on, Father just makes for a so much better villain than whoever it was in the animu.

Well, I don't even know who "Lin and the others" is, so maybe seeing a true-to-the-manga version might be pretty interesting.

Well, yes and no.

Hohenhiem appears in the manga as he does in the anime, but this person is specifically referred to as "Father" by everyone aside from Hohenhiem.

FMA was possibly one of the best animes I've ever seen... so hell yeah I'm looking forward to it. Gotta wait for a couple months though..

I personally can't wait for this to come out. I am excited that they are making a fullmetal alchemist 2 though. I am not sure what to expect.

Awesome - the seiyuu from series one are confirmed for Ed and Al.

Everything else is just extra for me, but I HAD to have the same voice for Ed again... nothing else would have worked for me.

Same here, the manga is so much better. The last few chapters have been so exciting.

The voice list is put out... from the looks of it everyone but Ed, Al, and Hughes have been recast. This isn't all that surprising, given that some of the voice talents might not be available or might not even want to work on the new series. I was mostly concerned about the voices for Ed and Al, cause I remember theirs best.

Well atleast they are going to continue it which is a good sign. Unlike some Animes like Fruites Basket.

Not to take it too off topic, but yes! Fruits Basket needs a sequel so bad! So does Ouran HS Host Club.

I would love to see those series continued... NANA could use more, too. But yet some shows like Naruto go on forever and ever and ever... I wish some other shows could get some more episodes instead lol.

Yeah I know what you mean. I think it is a good step for them to make sequal. Sorry if I went off topic but I thought it was a good example a great anime not finished.

I really hope the theme songs to the new FMA series are good... the first series had such good music. From the previews I saw it looks like the character designs are pretty much exactly the same.

Thats always good and I agree the music was amazing. Ready Set Don't go is a classic anime theme!

Does anyone know which manga issues cover the first 26 episodes of brotherhood?
