Sacred Arms: Weapons of the Lost Age

Background: The year is 30XX. Plagued by constant warring, the world has become a much more desolate version of its previously vibrant and thriving self. As a result, most "world powers" have fallen and those that haven't are husks of their former, glorious selves. One such power, the Holy Empire of Brittania hopes to build itself back to the days of its peak strength. To do this, the Empire has established several Academies where civilization is still possible in hopes of training soldiers raised with militarism embedded deep into their psyches and unparralled skill. This is the story of one such place, the Province of Neutrino, wherien lies the prestigious Ashford Academy.

Setting: The city of Neutrino is truly the oasis of oasis. Surrounded by vast desert-like wastelands, the city has a thriving civilization with developed business districts and education facilities. Ashford Academy, a school for the descendants of nobility and general aristocracy sits at the heart of the city, illustrating the importance in the context of Neutrino's future.

On the outskirts of Neutrino lie settlements formed by peasants, outlaws and other vagabonds. Those of them who make a living for themselves by sweeping the wastelands for spare ARMS parts and semi functional units go by the title of "Raider". Occasionally, these raiders are known to drawn in rare finds that fetch high prices on both the open and black market.
